Khoisan Bibliography

You will see that this is not a list of just academic literature. This is deliberate, as non academic materiel can often be a source of valuable information and give different perspectives. Some of these 'commercial' publications also carry superb photographs, unlike the majority of professional works. However, such non academic books do have the tendancy of developing romantic notions of the 'Noble Hunter' which may detract from the reality that these are a people in a very real & long running process of transition, assimilation and absorbtion which, despite objections, has an inevitability that has been played out innumerable times over the millenia. The inclusion of these publications though may help a little to balance the often 'Dry' text of academic literature and the occasional 'suspect agendas' they present.
